The U.S. Embassy invites U.S. citizens in Nicaragua to attend a Town Hall hosted by Ambassador Sullivan on Friday, January 31, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The event will take place in Casa Grande at the U.S. Embassy compound, located at Kilometer 5.5 Carretera Sur, Managua.
The program will include remarks by the Ambassador, as well as presentations by Embassy officials on overseas voting, emergency preparedness, and the overall security situation in Nicaragua. An official from the Regional Federal Benefits Unit located in U.S. Embassy San Jose will also be present to respond to general inquiries about benefits from the Social Security Administration, Railroad Retirement Board, Office of Personnel Management, and the Department of Veteran Affairs. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions. Light refreshments will be served.
In order to attend, you must RSVP to acsmanagua@state.gov with your full name and U.S. passport number no later than noon on Monday, January 27, 2020. If you have specific questions or topics you would like to address, please note them in your RSVP. You will need to present your passport in order to be admitted to the event. Capacity is limited, and RSVPs will be confirmed as space permits.
