Remarks by U.S. Ambassador to Nicaragua, Laura F. Dogu
Managua, September 23 2017
Good thing that we are all here in the beautiful beach of Casares to celebrate the World Day of the Coastal Cleaning. I want to thank Paso Pacifico and especially Liza González, for your unconditional support for the organization of this event. I want to also recognize the presence of our students of ACCESS, children and scout girls, students and teachers of the American School, volunteers from the community of Casares and the Diriamba officers. It’s very good that children and young people are present. I have seen all over Nicaragua that the young are lovers of nature and that they take care of nature.
So, let’s do it, let’s clean the beach!
Thank you very much.
