Signing of Bilateral Coordinating Arrangement

Ambassador Phyllis Powers and Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Cesar Vega signed the bilateral Coordinating Arrangement required to implement the Cooperative Situational and Information Integration (CSII) System. The CSII System shares air and maritime tracking data among the U.S. and Central American countries to coordinate counternarcotics, humanitarian assistance, disaster recovery, and search and rescue operations.
