During his visit, Ambassador Sullivan met with the Bainbridge Ometepe Sister Islands Association to strengthen the 35 year bond and collaboration between Ometepe and Bainbridge Island in Seattle, Washington.

As the coffee harvest is in full swing, the Ambassador visited Finca Magdalena to see the coffee production process first hand. To close his visit to the island, he toured the famous Charco Verde eco-reserve to see the wide variety of plant and animal life.
